Last February, ORBIS Kids Sight Ambassadors, Sandra Ng & Chilam Cheung, visited Vietnam to better understand and raise awareness of our work in resolving the serious pediatric blindness problem worldwide.

During their five-day visit, Sandra and Chilam toured remote rural areas where families are so poor that little ones frequently go blind as there is no hope of paying for treatment. After accompanying several kids to hospital for life-transforming surgery, our Ambassadors remind everyone that simple surgery is often all that's needed to rewrite the destinies of the world's 1,400,000 preventably blind children.
